The A-FACE database is a searchable collection of images of faces
and their associated attributes. It is maintained by Blake McKimmie from the School
of Psychology at the University of Queensland (Australia) and Kerry Chalmers from
School of Behavioural Sciences at the University of Newcastle
(Australia). All database programming and interface design was done
by Paul R. Jackson.
The purpose of this database is to provide a resource for
researchers to assist them in their academic activities. To gain
access to the database, please read and agree to the Terms of Use.
Contributions of images and ratings of attributes would be greatly
appreciated. Please contact Blake McKimmie or Kerry Chalmers for
more information.
Please note: Downloaded files are in jpeg format inside a .gzip
wrapper. Windows users can use WinZip to extract the pictures. Mac users may need to manually drop the downloaded file
directly onto Aladain's Stuffit Expander.
