ARC Success

The School would like to congratulate the following staff who have been successful in today’s ARC round:

Greig de Zubicaray $765,000 over 5 years for "How the brain produces speech" - this includes a QEII fellowship but unfortunately Greig is going to have to make  a choice between that and his Future Fellowship

Barbara Masser and colleagues $371,000 over3 years for "The initiation and maintenance of plasma and platelet donation in Australia: An analysis of the role of donor identity and commitment".

 Kim Halford & Griffith colleagues  $280,000 over 3 years for "The effects of home‑based couple relationship education on couple relationships, mental health and work performance" 

Matthew Hornsey & Michael Wohl (ANU) 174,000 over 3 years for "Promoting intergroup forgiveness: The benefits and pitfalls of apologies and invocations of shared humanity" 

Jolanda Jetten & Naomi Ellemers  $156,000 over 3 years for "Minority hostility and resistance: The interplay between majority rejection and minority goals"

Winnifred Louis, Jo Smith & colleagues $90,000 over 3 years for "Draining the will for peace or war: Understanding how social influence and self‑regulation processes interact in conflict" 

Candi Peterson, Virginia Slaughter and colleagues $300,000 over 3 years for "Theory of mind and everyday social behaviour in children with autism, deafness and typical development" 

Matt Sanders $130,000 over 2 years for "Controlled trial of a family intervention for children bullied by peers" 

Cindy Gallois and colleagues $360,000 over 3 years for "Therapeutic pluralism in pregnancy, labour and birthing: Decision-making, communication and inter-professional dynamics"

Bill von Hippel and colleagues $430,000 over 5 years for "Ageing and self-regulation"

This is another excellent outcome.
