School of Psychology - Community & Clinics - Clinics
The UQ Psychology Clinic (formerly the Behaviour Research and Therapy Centre) is a joint facility between the School of Psychology and the Department of Psychiatry.
The Clinic provides advanced level training for clinical psychologists and clinical neuro psychologists.
The clinic also runs an outpatient service and receives child, adolescent and adult referrals from a wide range of professional and from members of the public.
The Parenting and Family Support Centre aims to promote the health and well being of families through research, training and the provision of clinical services. The Centre's activities revolve around Triple P (Positive Parenting Program).
The Child and Family Psychology Clinic has been established within the centre to provide clinical services to the community. Families with children aged between 1 and 12 years can access the Child and Family Psychology Clinic by referral from a number of professionals.
