Centre for Research on Group Processes (CRGP)
The Centre for Research on Group Processes is primarily a research centre which acts as an Australasian focus for the study of social psychological phenomena that are mediated, influenced, or produced by group membership. Its mission is the development, application and dissemination of social psychological theory and research on the interaction of social-cognitive, social interactive, and socio-structural processes in the production of intergroup, group, and group-mediated phenomena.

Centre for Social Research in Communication
The Centre for Social Research in Communication is a Faculty Centre in the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences with participation from the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law and the Faculty of Health Sciences. Academic staff affiliated with the Centre also come from the Faculty of Arts. The CSRComm provides a focus for communication scholarship in four main areas: intergroup /interpersonal communication, organisational communication, health communication, and mass media and online communication.

Cognitive Engineering Research Group (CERG)
The Cognitive Engineering Research Group is a group of researchers interested in the modeling, analysis, design and evaluation of complex safety-critical systems such as power plant control rooms, cockpits, critical care in medicine, and defence systems. CERG is associated with the Key Centre for Human Factors and Applied Cognitive Psychology and also with the School of ITEE. CERG's research is hosted by the UQ Usability Laboratory (UQUL) in the McElwain Building.

Early Cognitive Development Unit
At the Early Cognitive Development Unit we study infants up until the age of 2-years, to gain a better understanding of their mental abilities. Specifically, we are interested in what they know about feelings, intentions, and desires of both themselves and others. The Early Cognitive Development Unit also studies when toddlers and young children begin to understand that one thing can lead to another. For example, that a map or a picture is a representation of reality.

Emotion, Learning and Psychophysiology Laboratory
The Emotion, Learning and Psychophysiology Laboratory is located in the School of Psychology at the University of Queensland, Australia. Our research investigates emotion, attention, human learning and their interrelation using methodologies from traditional cognitive psychology, psychophysiology and neuroscience. The research explores basic processes and their application in experimental psychopathology. Student members in the laboratory train to pursue careers in academic research, clinical psychology or neuropsychology.

Parenting and Family Support Centre
The Parenting and Family Support Centre aims to promote the health and well being of families through research, training and the provision of clinical services. The Centre's activities revolve around Triple P (Positive Parenting Program).
The Child and Family Psychology Clinic has been established within the centre to provide clinical services to the community. Families with children aged between 1 and 12 years can access the Child and Family Psychology Clinic by referral from a number of professionals.

UQ Psychology Clinic
The UQ Psychology Clinic (formerly the Behaviour Research and Therapy Centre) is a joint facility between the School of Psychology and the Department of Psychiatry. The Clinic provides advanced level training for clinical psychologists and clinical neuro psychologists. The clinic also runs an outpatient service and receives child, adolescent and adult referrals from a wide range of professionals and from members of the public.
