Established in 1992 as a tribute to Professor Glenorchy McBride, former Professor of Psychology at the University and maintained by the income from a find given by his colleagues, students and friends.

Criteria:

For the best thesis in ethology or social psychology.

Value:

$160 (and University provides certificate)

Process:

Central Process of Memo forwarded to Head of School and details of winner forwarded once finalised. Award determined and confirmed at Honours Examiner Meeting.

Presentation:

UQ Prizes forward certificate and cheque.
