Demonstration - Blind Spot

Find your blind spot.

If you look at this with both eyes open, you will see a smoothly growing line. But if you cover your left eye and fixate on the cross, the line may seem to stop growing while it is still physically moving (you need to be close to the screen). This happens because the line grows into the blind-spot in your right eye, where you have no photoreceptors.
