Do you fear criticism or rejection from others? The University of Queensland Psychology Clinic provides group treatment for people with Social Anxiety. Social Phobia is a fear of being negatively judged by others. People may fear they will be embarrassed or do something wrong in social situations. The treatment program is an evidence-based Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy (CBT) group program focusing on providing skills that will help manage anxiety in social situations. The group treatment program will run for 8 weeks and commence in August.
Those interested in finding out more about our program can contact The Clinic on 3365 6451 or see our website: www.clinic.psy.uq.edu.au
