Seminar Title: "Primary Care Stepping Stones Triple P”

Abstract: Primary Care Stepping Stones Triple P (PCSSTP) is a brief version of Stepping Stones Triple P which has been specifically designed for parents of children with a disability. This research involves a randomised controlled trial (RCT) evaluating the efficacy of this program in a population of parents of children aged 2 to 9 years who have been diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). PCSSTP aims to address one or two specific problems that the parents are currently experiencing through four 30-minute sessions. This RCT is currently being conducted at the PFSC and some preliminary research findings will be discussed.
