Session 1

  • Speaker: Professor Andrew Neal
  • Topic: How to get into Organisational Psychology
  • Time: 12.30 pm – 1.30 pm

You will learn about program options (Masters vs PhD), the structure of the program (coursework, placements, thesis), career options (the types of places where our graduates get jobs), entry requirements and the application process.

Session 2

  • Speaker: Naomi Matheson
  • Topic: Counselling Psychology, Health Psychology, or Sports Psychology – what to choose?
  • Time: 1.30 pm – 2.30 pm

The Master of Applied Psychology is the only program in Queensland offering students the opportunity to complete training as a provisional psychologist in counselling, health or sports psychology.  Come along and find out about entry requirements for the program, placement options, program structure, and career opportunities for graduates.  Hear about psychologists who currently work in each of these specialties, and bring any questions with you to test out our speaker’s knowledge!
