Red Cross Brown Bag Lunch
Location:
Social Sciences Building (#24), Room S402
Start:
12:00pm Wednesday, 21st June 2017
Finish:
1:00pm Wednesday, 21st June 2017

The School of Psychology invites you to attend our brown bag lunch session, "In Search of Safety: Red Cross Migration Support."

In Search of Safety, developed by the Red Cross Migration Support Program, is a community education program that aims to help dispel the myths and misunderstandings surrounding people seeking asylum in Australia and create a more welcoming and more inclusive community for all. The session will include a firsthand account from someone with lived experience of seeking asylum in Australia.

We are asking attendees to make a donation at the door. Funds raised will be distributed through Red Cross’ Emergency Relief program to migrants in the transition who have little to no supports in the community.

The session will take place on Wednesday 21 June from 12-1pm in room S402, Social Sciences Building (#24), UQ St Lucia campus.

All are welcome and we hope to see you there!
