The School had a bumper year of staff achievements in the domain of elected fellows of learned academies in 2016: 

  • Mark Nielsen: elected fellow of the Association for Psychological Science.
     
  • Jason Mattingley:  elected fellow of the Association for Psychological Science.
     
  • Winnifred Louis: elected Fellow of the Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues (Division 8 of the American Psychological Association).
     
  • Kim Halford:  elected Inaugural Honorary Fellow of the Australian Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Therapies.  Also elected fellow of the Association of Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies.
     
  • Virginia Slaughter: elected Fellow of the Academy of the Social Sciences in Australia.
     
  • Matthew Sanders: elected Fellow of the Academy of the Social Sciences in Australia.
