Nominations for UQ Psychology’s 2011 Distinguished Alumnus Award are now open.

The Distinguished Alumnus Award recognises and rewards outstanding contributions made by a UQ psychology graduate over a sustained period, in one or more of four areas:

  • Practice

  • Community Service
  • Teaching

All UQ psychology graduates are eligible for nomination, so if you know of a psychology alumnus who deserves to be recognised for their achievements, make a nomination. Self-nominations are also acceptable.

To make a nomination, submit a brief outline of the candidate's achievements explaining why he/she deserves recognition for their efforts to Troy Visser. Troy is also available to answer any questions you have about the awards on (07) 3346 9517.

Nominations close 15 August 2011 and the award will be presented on 2 November 2011.
