Dr Natasha Matthews
Natasha recently joined the School of Psychology as part of the newly opened Science of Learning Research Centre (SLRC), a special research initiative of the ARC that will bring together researchers in education, neuroscience and cognitive psychology with the ultimate aim of increasing our understanding of the learning process. Natasha’s research focuses on understanding the neural, genetic and pharmacological control of attention and learning in both adult and child populations. Following her PhD she undertook a postdoctoral fellowship at Vanderbilt University in the USA, and was then a research fellows at the Queensland Brain Institute before taking up her current position.
