Life after 4th year: Preparing for employment (Katrina Greig)

With the end of the academic year in sight, you may well be starting to think about life after 4th year.  Regardless of whether your next step involves additional study, full-time or part-time work, it’s important to know how (and how not) to present your skills and achievements, and sell your worth as graduates.  As a Career Advisor at UQ’s Student Services, Katrina Greig helps students to plan their careers and explore professional opportunities.  In this lunchtime session, Katrina will cover topics designed to assist all students in preparing for future employment, including CV preparation, how to target your application, and addressing selection criteria.

Places are limited, so to attend please email psychonours@psy.uq.edu.au on August 16, 2010.
