PSA Seminar Series

PSA Seminar Series
Start:
Thursday, 8th September 2005

The second Psychology Students Association seminar will take place next Friday, 9th September at 4:00pm in room 24A, 306.

The seminar, "What on earth do you actually 'do' in postgraduate psychology" will be presented by well-known, respected and newly PhD-finished Dr Janie Busby together with current PhD student, Cassy Dittman. In this seminar, the two will talk about what it's like to do a postgraduate degree in psychology at UQ. The PSA will be providing pizza and drinks following the presentation and all undergraduate students are encouraged to attend.
This is your chance to ask the questions you've always wanted to about doing a Clinical PhD (Cassy) and a Research PhD (Janie). They will chat about the different postgraduate degrees, what's generally involved from a student's perspective, and about their own experiences, as well as giving a few tips about things you might like to think about before embarking on a postgraduate degree in psychology.

If you would like to present something at a PSA seminar, or you have a topic you would like to see covered, please contact the PSA committee:
